BIR Bay Area Chapter

Welcome! The goal of the BiR Bay Area Chapter is to create a connected community of Black roboticists and allies in the Bay Area - Students, researchers, and practitioners - for sharing knowledge, mentoring, outreach and advocacy. We will be hosting meet and greet events, workshops, career fairs, and outreach opportunities. The Bay Area is a hub of academic and industry institutions and a fantastic place where we can work together to advance the goals of BiR.

To keep in touch with what we are up to, join the BiR Slack channel and mailing list! within the BiR slack, we have a dedicated channel (#bay_ area_ chapter) where you can meet other local members and keep track of our events. And we look forward to meeting you all in person.

Special Thanks to our Chapter's founding Corporate Partners: Toyota Research Institute and Amazon Robotics for their generous support!
